AI search visibility

Be the practice ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity recommend

More than one in two French people already use AI, and some ask it for a dentist the way they would ask a friend. The AI answers with two or three names. The work that gets your practice into that answer is called GEO. Almost no one measures it yet.

What changed in 2026

Since July 22, 2026, Google has shown AI Overviews in France: a written answer, placed above the list of websites. In ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, the question “which dentist for an implant in Lyon 6e?” gets a direct answer, with named practices and their sources. According to Arcom and Médiamétrie (April 2026), 56.6% of French people already use artificial intelligence.

AI search visibility, or GEO (generative engine optimization), means making your practice an answer these tools can give with confidence. It is neither advertising (which is prohibited) nor a trick: it is information, prepared to be read by a machine.

How an AI chooses the practices it cites

An AI does not “know” your practice. When it gets a local question, it searches (often via Google or Bing), reads a few sources, and builds its answer from what it has understood. It keeps the practices that meet four conditions:

  • It finds you. Your website and your Google Business Profile appear in the results it consults. Google SEO therefore remains the foundation.
  • It understands you. The information is written simply, in full sentences, with the words a patient uses: “dental implant”, “veneers”, “Lyon 6e”, not jargon or images without text.
  • It believes you. Name, address, treatments, dentists and fees are identical on the website, the Google Business Profile and the directories. One contradiction, and the AI would rather cite another practice whose information is cleaner.
  • It can cite you. A specific page answers the question asked, with a clear answer in the first few lines and a source (your website) it can mention.

What we actually do

Measure where you stand today

We ask AI tools the questions your patients ask, for your treatments and your city, and we note which practices they cite. You see the result during the diagnostic: your practice, competing practices, and why.

Prepare your data

We add structured data to your website that describes the practice, the dentists, the treatments, the opening hours and the frequently asked questions, in a format Google and AI tools read directly. We write an llms.txt file, a plain-language introduction to the practice intended for AI tools, and we open the site to their crawlers.

Write to be cited

Each treatment page opens with a clear answer to the patient's question, then goes into detail. The FAQs are written in patients' own words. Practical information is aligned everywhere, down to the directories.

Track it, every month

We ask the AI tools the same questions every month and report the result on your dashboard, next to your position on Google and on the map. You see the progress, and what is left to do.

What GEO is not

It is not a way around the code of ethics: AI tools repeat what you publish, and what you publish is information, not advertising. Nor is it a guarantee: nobody controls an AI's answer, and we never promise that you will be cited. We promise the work, the measurement and the transparency.

To go further, two guides: how ChatGPT chooses the dentist it recommends and Google AI Overviews and your practice.

Frequently asked questions

What dentists ask us about this.

Do patients really ask an AI to find them a dentist?

More and more. 56.6% of French people already use artificial intelligence (Arcom and Médiamétrie, April 2026), and Google has shown AI Overviews in France since July 22, 2026, above the list of websites. “Which dentist for an implant near me?” is one of the questions people now put to an AI.

How do you measure where I stand in AI answers?

We ask AI tools the questions your patients ask, for your city and your treatments, and we look at which practices they cite. We also measure the signals they rely on: structured data, consistency of information, clarity of the pages. You see the result before and after.

Can you pay to appear in ChatGPT?

No, and for a dentist it would be advertising anyway, which the code of ethics prohibits. AI tools cite the practices they find, understand and consider reliable. That is the work we do.

Does GEO replace Google SEO?

No, it adds to it. AI tools often search via Google or Bing before answering: a practice that is invisible on Google is invisible to them. We work on both at the same time, on the same foundations.

What's next

Let's talk about your practice.

The simplest step is to request your diagnostic: you will see where your practice really stands on Google, on the map and in AI answers, and we walk through it together on a video call.
